Performing a print head check on the CLNX Plus printer

Learn how to perform a print head check on your CL4NX Plus / CL6NX Plus printer to ensure proper printhead functionality.

Step 1: Enter the printer menu

1. Press the Play/Pause button to take the printer offline.
2. Press the enter key to access the menu.

Step 2: Navigate to the tools menu

1. Use the directional arrow keys to move to TOOLS.
2. Press the enter key to select it.

Step 3: Select test print

1. In the TOOLS menu, select TEST PRINT.
2. Press the enter key .

Step 4: Start the head check

1. In the TEST PRINT menu, select HEAD CHECK.
2. Press the enter key to proceed.
3. At the HEAD CHECK screen, press the right soft button to start the test print.

Step 5: Stop the head check

• If needed, you can press the right soft button again to stop the printing process.

Interpreting the head check results

• HEAD CHECK OK – The printhead is functioning properly.

• HEAD CHECK NG – There are blown elements in the printhead that may require replacement.
